Digital lifeline for teens stuck in ERs during suicide crisis

NCT ID NCT07150832

Summary

This study tests a digital program called I-CARE, designed to help teens who are in a mental health crisis and waiting in emergency rooms for a psychiatric hospital bed. The program uses videos and exercises to teach coping skills during this stressful waiting period. Researchers will compare teens who receive the digital program plus usual care to those who receive usual care alone to see if it helps reduce suicidal thoughts.
