Phone therapy could stop PTSD and pot addiction after assault

Summary
This study tests a digital program designed to prevent posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and cannabis use disorder in women who have been sexually assaulted. The program targets anxiety sensitivity, a known risk factor. Researchers will enroll 68 women who come to the emergency room within 72 hours of an assault and use cannabis at least once a week. The goal is to see if the program is acceptable and effective in reducing the risk of these conditions.
