Tablet app aims to turn ER waiting time into lifesaving care for suicidal patients
NCT ID NCT06223867
Summary
This study is testing a tablet-based app called Jaspr Health for people at risk of suicide who come to the emergency room. The app guides patients through creating a safety plan, learning coping skills, and watching inspirational stories from others, aiming to use waiting time productively. Researchers will follow 670 participants for a year to see if using the app reduces suicide attempts, emergency visits for suicide risk, or deaths by suicide.
