New app aims to ease chronic pain in teens without pills

Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app called Digital SPA, co-designed with teens, to help young people aged 12–17 manage chronic pain (like headaches or stomach aches) that has lasted at least 3 months. About 195 teens and a parent will use the app, answer questionnaires, and give feedback. The goal is to see if the app reduces pain interference and emergency room visits, and helps teens take control of their pain.
