Weekly reminders boost home monitoring in severe asthma patients

NCT ID NCT07393984

First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This pilot study tested whether weekly reminder messages help adults with severe asthma stick to home-based lung function monitoring using a digital device. Thirty patients used the AioCare spirometry system for 12 weeks. Those who got reminders completed more monitoring sessions than those who didn't. No device-related problems were reported.
