New prosthetic tech and exercise aim to boost mobility for diabetic amputees

Summary

This study tests a new prosthetic socket and liner combined with an exercise program for people who lost a lower leg due to type 2 diabetes. The goal is to improve comfort, mobility, and overall health. About 38 participants who already use a prosthesis will be enrolled.
