Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app that connects people recovering from opioid use disorder with peer support can help them stay in treatment and improve their recovery. About 1,300 adults who own a smartphone and are in recovery or treatment for opioid use will use the app or receive usual care. Researchers will measure changes in recovery capital—a measure of resources that support long-term recovery—over six months.
