Text nudges help asthma patients stick to home breathing tests
NCT ID NCT07393984
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether sending weekly text or app reminders helped adults with severe asthma stick to a home monitoring routine. Thirty patients used a special device and smartphone app to measure their breathing weekly for three months. The study found that patients who got reminders were better at completing their weekly tests than those who did not.
