Smartphone app trial aims to help kids breathe easier
NCT ID NCT06820593
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app and digital sensors can help families manage children's asthma at home. Researchers want to see if adding remote support from an asthma coordinator makes the system more useful and easier to use. The trial involves 80 parent-child pairs where the child has persistent or uncontrolled asthma, comparing two versions of the digital tools.
