Can a smartphone app boost therapy for senior depression?

NCT ID NCT06910683

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a special smartphone app to remote therapy sessions helps reduce depression in adults aged 50-80 better than therapy alone. The app uses a smart algorithm to help people stick with their therapy homework. Researchers will compare the two approaches in 60 participants to see which is more acceptable and effective at easing depression symptoms.
