Can a phone app boost anxiety therapy for teens?
NCT ID NCT07145307
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app called Sidekick can help teenagers (ages 13-18) with anxiety disorders practice exposure exercises between therapy sessions. About 46 teens will use the app alongside their usual outpatient treatment. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable for both teens and therapists, not to prove it works yet.
