Your phone could spot Alzheimer's before you notice

NCT ID NCT05153941

Summary

This study aims to find out if smartphones, wearables, and home sensors can detect very early signs of Alzheimer's disease by measuring changes in a person's daily activities. It will enroll 3,500 people, including healthy volunteers and those with different stages of memory problems, to see if this technology is more sensitive than current paper questionnaires. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve early detection, not to test a treatment.
