What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

mobile app with educational content and optional self-management program based on cognitive behavioural therapy

What this could lead to

If successful, this could provide an effective, accessible digital tool to help cancer patients manage fatigue without extra clinic visits.

What could go wrong

This is a relatively early-stage trial testing different app features, so the best approach may not prove clearly better than basic education. Fatigue is subjective and results may vary.
