First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a digital information tool called Digi-Do for breast cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy. The tool was designed to help patients feel more involved and prepared before, during, and after treatment. Researchers measured changes in distress and self-efficacy in 80 participants. The goal was to see if a simple smartphone-based tool could improve the patient experience.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could give doctors a simple way to help breast cancer patients feel more in control and less anxious during radiotherapy.
