NCT ID NCT05090865

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether eating fruits and vegetables with different potassium levels affects blood potassium in people with chronic kidney disease. About 30 adults with moderate-to-severe kidney disease will follow two diets in random order, each with home-delivered produce. Researchers will track potassium levels, blood pressure, physical function, and quality of life to see if a more liberal diet is safe and beneficial.
