Summary
This study was designed to see if a diet low in certain amino acids (cysteine and methionine) changes how the body and brain tumor cells work in people with recurrent glioma. Up to 30 participants would have been randomly assigned to either a regular diet or the special diet for 2 to 7 days before their planned radiation or surgery. The study was withdrawn before enrolling anyone, so no results are available.
