Can changing your Family's diet help prevent colon cancer?

NCT ID NCT06117241

Summary

This study is testing whether a 6-month anti-inflammatory diet can reduce body inflammation and improve gut health in obese adults who have had colon polyps, a risk factor for early-onset colon cancer. The trial also includes a household partner (like a family member over age 9) to see if changing shared meals benefits both people. Researchers will measure blood markers of inflammation and analyze gut bacteria to see if the diet helps reverse metabolic problems linked to cancer risk.
