Summary
This study is testing if a special high-fiber, low-fat diet given for 21 days before colon cancer surgery can change the gut's bacteria and environment to help prevent the cancer from returning or spreading. Researchers will provide all meals and track participants' health for up to 5 years after surgery. The goal is to see if this simple dietary change before an operation can improve long-term outcomes.
