First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a ketogenic (low-carb, high-fat) or carnivore (meat-only) diet can improve quality of life and reduce symptoms in adults with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's or ulcerative colitis) or rheumatoid arthritis. Participants are randomly assigned to one of the diets or a wait-list group for 24 weeks. The goal is to see if these diets help control symptoms and reduce inflammation.
