Nordic diet may tame IBD flares, new study hopes

Summary

This study is testing whether a Mediterranean-style diet (called 'Nordiet') can improve gut health and reduce inflammation in people with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Researchers will also look at how exercise, mental health, and quality of life affect disease activity. The study is recruiting 160 adults with moderately active IBD.
