Summary

This study aims to understand how different calorie-restricted diets affect gut bacteria and weight loss in Black and White women with obesity. Researchers will provide all meals for 4 weeks to 28 participants, comparing a heart-healthy DASH diet to a standard American diet. The main goal is to learn how race, diet, and gut bacteria interact, which could lead to better future obesity treatments.
