Summary

This study aims to find out which of two healthy diets is better at reducing liver fat in overweight children and teenagers with fatty liver disease (MASLD). Researchers will compare a specially adapted Indian version of the Mediterranean diet against a standard low-fat diet over six months. The goal is to see which diet helps more children achieve normal liver fat levels and improves other health markers like weight and cholesterol.
