Pre-Surgery diet study explores effects on breast cancer cells

Summary
This study looks at whether women with early-stage breast cancer can stick to a special diet (either a low-carb ketogenic diet or a low-protein diet) for about 9 days before their surgery. The main goal is to see if the diet is doable, not to treat the cancer. Researchers will also check how the diet affects cancer cells and the body's immune response. About 75 women aged 18-80 with a specific type of breast cancer (luminal, HER2-negative) who haven't had treatment yet will take part.
