Can changing what you eat slow down Alzheimer's?

NCT ID NCT03860792

Summary

This study tested whether two specific diets—a ketogenic diet and a Therapeutic Lifestyles Changes diet—could help slow cognitive decline in people with early Alzheimer's disease. Researchers enrolled 84 participants with mild Alzheimer's symptoms to follow one of these diets for three months. They measured changes in memory, thinking skills, and brain chemistry to see if dietary changes could help control the disease's progression.
