Could your diet be the missing piece for treating Crohn's and colitis?

NCT ID NCT06896305

Summary

This study is testing whether following a specific diet plan, called the Crohn's Disease Exclusion Diet (CDED), can make standard biologic medications more effective for people with active Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. It will compare two groups of about 80 adults: one group gets the medication alone, and the other gets the medication plus the special diet. The goal is to see if the diet-medicine combination leads to better symptom control, less gut inflammation, and a higher quality of life.
