Scientists hunt for a 'Food lie Detector' in your blood and hair
NCT ID NCT01237093
Summary
This study aimed to find a more accurate way to measure what people eat by testing substances in blood and hair. Researchers fed 59 healthy men specific diets for 12 weeks to see if these body samples could reliably show how much meat, fish, and soda they consumed. The goal was to develop a better tool for nutrition research than asking people to remember their meals.
