First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study aims to understand the link between calcium and phosphorus from food and the stage of kidney disease in patients with advanced chronic kidney disease (stage 4-5). Researchers will compare two methods of tracking diet: taking photos of meals and weighing food. The goal is to see how well these methods measure mineral balance and how that relates to kidney function. The study involves 50 adults with severely reduced kidney function.
