First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at how vegan, omnivorous, and carnivore diets affect the way LDL cholesterol particles clump together in the blood, which can lead to clogged arteries. Researchers will measure blood fats and other health markers in 90 adults aged 25-60 who have followed one of these diets for at least 6 months. The goal is to understand links between diet, cholesterol behavior, and heart health.
