Summary

This study follows 30 women aged 18-70 who are having DIEP flap breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. Researchers will take blood samples before and after surgery to measure inflammation and stress markers, and track how well the flap heals. The goal is to better understand why some women have complications, but no new treatments or drugs are being tested.
