Summary

This study looked at whether applying diclofenac gel to the hands and feet can prevent or delay hand-foot syndrome, a common and painful side effect of the chemotherapy drug capecitabine. About 150 people with colorectal or stomach cancer were observed. The goal was to see if the gel reduces the number of people who get severe skin reactions.
