Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether diclofenac, an FDA-approved pain and inflammation medication, can help people with alcohol use disorder. Researchers want to see if the drug changes specific brain chemicals linked to alcohol cravings and negative mood. The study will enroll 24 participants to test three different doses against a placebo.
