First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This observational study will check if diathermy, a tool used during surgery to stop bleeding, affects the accuracy of continuous glucose monitors in people with Type 1 Diabetes. About 126 adults and children will have their glucose readings compared before and after diathermy use. The goal is to see if the monitors stay reliable during surgery.
