Summary
This study is trying to understand if changing the ingredients in the fluid used during dialysis can reduce unwanted activation of blood cells and inflammation. It involves 15 patients already in a related trial, who will have their blood and used dialysis equipment tested. The goal is to gather information to potentially improve dialysis treatments in the future.
