Biobank aims to Fast-Track diagnostics for future outbreaks

Summary
This study collects leftover blood, urine, and other samples from 800 hospitalized adults to create a biobank. The samples will help researchers develop and test rapid diagnostic tools for emerging infectious diseases and chemical or biological threats. No extra procedures are needed—only samples already taken during routine care are used. The goal is to improve how quickly we can identify and respond to future outbreaks.
