Summary
This study aims to see if automated insulin pump systems work well and are safe for adults with type 1 diabetes from underserved communities, who often have worse health outcomes. Researchers will compare three different FDA-approved pump systems against standard insulin injections over nine months. The goal is to understand if this technology helps people keep their blood sugar in a healthy range more often and reduces dangerous lows or hospital visits.
