Know your risk, stop diabetes before it starts

NCT ID NCT07553325

First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adults with prediabetes are more likely to take preventive steps—like joining a diabetes prevention program or starting medication—if they learn their personal risk. About 120 participants will either have a talk with a healthcare team member, get a message through their patient portal, or receive usual care. The goal is to see which approach helps people take action to avoid developing diabetes.
