Can video calls prevent diabetes as well as office visits for seniors?
NCT ID NCT05166785
Summary
This study tests whether a diabetes prevention program delivered through telehealth (video calls) works as well as traditional in-person sessions for older adults with prediabetes. Researchers are comparing weight loss and program attendance between 238 participants randomly assigned to either the telehealth or in-person version of the program. The goal is to find the most effective way to help seniors prevent diabetes through lifestyle changes like diet and exercise.
