Can a Men-Only program stop diabetes before it starts?
NCT ID NCT04104243
Summary
This study tested whether a diabetes prevention program tailored for men worked better than the standard program. Over 300 men at risk for diabetes were randomly assigned to either attend the new men-only classes or the usual mixed-gender classes. The goal was to see if the tailored program helped men lose more weight and stick with the program longer over a 12-month period.
