First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested whether having a Diabetes Navigator—a guide who provides extra support—helps people with type 1 diabetes improve their use of advanced devices like continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps. 148 participants were split into two groups: one received standard care, the other got help from a Navigator. The main goal was to see if more people in the Navigator group increased their technology use score over 3 months.
