Summary
This study tested a new liquid nutrition formula designed for diabetic patients who cannot eat by mouth and need tube feeding. Researchers compared it to an existing formula to see if it was just as good at controlling blood sugar levels. Over 200 adult patients with diabetes participated for about 9 days. The main goal was to see if the new formula kept blood sugar from spiking as much as the standard one.
