First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 37 times
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people newly diagnosed with diabetes in the emergency room do not schedule follow-up appointments. Researchers will review medical records, interview patients, and test whether a telehealth visit can help connect them to a regular doctor. About 200 adults from New York City and Long Island will take part.
