First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether two common diabetes drug combinations (SGLT2 inhibitors plus metformin vs. DPP-4 inhibitors plus metformin) affect memory and depression risk in older adults with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will track 300 participants over time using memory tests and depression questionnaires. The goal is to see if one drug combo is linked to better brain health.
