Summary

This study is testing if adding the diabetes drug empagliflozin helps people who have received a transplant of their own insulin-producing cells. It will involve 40 adults who still have some cell function after their transplant. Researchers will compare different doses of the drug to see which one best improves time spent in a healthy blood sugar range over three months.
