Scientists test lung & diabetes drugs to unlock new treatment clues
NCT ID NCT02363335
Summary
This study aimed to understand how two existing drugs—one for lung disease and one for diabetes—affect hormones that control blood sugar. Researchers tested the drugs on 29 healthy volunteers to see if they work together to boost helpful gut hormones. The goal was to gather basic knowledge that could one day lead to new treatments for type 2 diabetes.
