First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at how well-controlled blood sugar (measured by HbA1c) affects brain oxygen levels during surgery in people with diabetes. About 80 adults having urologic surgery will be monitored with a special brain oxygen sensor. The goal is to understand the relationship, not to test a new treatment.
