800 patients to reveal why pancreatitis leads to diabetes

Summary
This study follows 800 people who recently had acute pancreatitis to understand why some develop diabetes afterward. Participants will be monitored for 36 months with tests and surveys. No new treatments are tested—the goal is to learn more about the link between pancreatitis and diabetes.
