New hope for kids with aggressive brain cancer: Two-Year pill trial aims to stop relapse

Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called DFMO, taken as a pill twice daily for two years, can help prevent the aggressive brain cancer medulloblastoma from coming back. It is for children and young adults (up to age 21) who have a high-risk form of the disease or whose cancer has returned after treatment. The main goal is to see if this maintenance therapy improves the length of time patients live without their cancer progressing.
