Summary
This study looked at adding dexmedetomidine to a standard numbing medicine for a nerve block after C-section. 80 pregnant women received the block after spinal anesthesia. The goal was to see if the addition would make pain relief last longer, reduce recovery time, and lower the need for extra painkillers. The study is complete and was in an early phase.
