One-Shot eye injection aims to tame Post-Cataract inflammation

NCT ID NCT06497699

Summary

This study tested a single injection of dexamethasone (Dexycu) placed inside the eye during cataract surgery. The goal was to see if this one-time treatment could effectively reduce and control the inflammation that commonly occurs after the procedure. Researchers compared 113 people who received the injection to 150 people who received standard care, measuring how quickly eye inflammation cleared up.
