New hope for clearer, less painful recovery after brain surgery
NCT ID NCT07398066
Summary
This study aims to see if a drug called dexmedetomidine can help patients feel less pain and be less confused after brain surgery. It will involve 60 adults having planned brain surgery. Researchers will compare the drug to a placebo to see if it lowers pain scores, reduces the need for strong painkillers like morphine, and prevents post-surgery delirium.
